Q1: What kind of material are there for lanyards?

Straps can be divided into polyester lanyards, nylon lanyards, dye sublimation lanyards, woven lanyard, tube lanyard etc. Dye sublimation lanyard is the softest among all lanyards. Due to the use of dyeing technology, the texture of the dye sublimation lanyard is smooth and soft. Polyester lanyards have a moderate softness and are known for their excellent quality and affordable price. Polyester lanyard is the preferred choice for sports because it has high absorption. Nylon lanyard is the highest quality lanyard. It is thicker but has the lowest softness. 

Generally speaking, here below are the tips for choosing the material of the lanyards. 

If you have limited budget and logo is not complicated, polyester is a good choice.

If the logo is complicated or even with gradient color, dye sublimation would be better. 

If you have enough budget and care the quality most, we suggest you choosing nylon lanyard!

For the woven or tube, generally, we'll produce it only if the client's original samples are made in those materials. 

Q2: How many colors can dye sublimation lanyards be made into?

There is no limit to the number of colors for dye sublimation lanyards. All dye sublimation lanyards adopt advanced dye sublimation printing technology. Dye sublimation lanyard allows us to print any graphic, including full-color photos and gradients.

Q3: Can screen printing technology be applied to dye sublimation lanyards?

Screen printing and dye sublimation printing are two printing techniques. They are both used for adding graphics on the surface of the lanyard.

Generally speaking, the dye sublimation printing technology can be used for various graphics. However, screen printed lanyards may be limited by color. If there are fewer orders and very simple color logo, we suggest that you choose screen printed lanyards. Larger orders or complicated color logo lanyards should choose dye sublimation lanyards.

If necessary, the dye sublimation and silkscreen printing can be combined in one design. For example, there are some specific texts should be highlighted with the complicated or gradient color background, then we can produce the background with dye sublimation but do extra silkscreen printing for the specific texts. In this way, the production time will be longer and the cost will be higher.

Q4: What is the maximum distance between the two signs of the lanyard?

Technically speaking, there is no limit to the distance between two logos. This depends on the maximum range allowed by the machine. As for the standards and norms of typesetting, it entirely depends on individual aesthetic views.

However, there needs to be a degree of spacing between the logos. The longer the distance between two signs, the more space will be left, inevitably damaging the overall sense of the lanyard. If placed too close, the logo cannot be seen clearly.

Q5: What is the minimum size of the font on the lanyard?

The surface of a customized lanyard usually includes the company's name and logo. As for the font size, there is currently no definite size, but you don't need to worry about the layout design of the text. Our team has professionals who can provide you with the best solution.
