HOW IS A MEDAL MADE ?

Step 1: Design & Artwork Preparation

• Customer submits logo, text, or artwork (we also offer free design services)

• 3D modeling – Our engineers create a digital prototype

• Approval – Customer reviews and confirms the design

Step 2: Mold Making (Die-Casting or Stamping)

• Zinc alloy medals: A custom steel mold is CNC-machined for precision

• Struck medals: High-pressure stamping creates sharp details

• 3D sculpting: For intricate designs (e.g., military insignias)

Step 3: Casting or Stamping

A) Die-Cast Medals (Most Common)

• Molten zinc alloy (or brass/copper) is injected into the mold

• Cooled and removed for finishing

B) Struck Medals (Premium Option)

• A blank metal disc is pressed under 200+ tons of force

• Produces sharper details than casting

Step 4: Polishing & Smoothing

• Rough edges are filed and polished

• Surface is buffed for a glossy or matte finish

Step 5: Plating & Coloring
